Express Yourself With Jamberry Nails

Let Your Nails Express Your Personality                                       and Style!

We all love to be pampered but sometimes we don't have the time to sit in a salon or spa or the budget just won't allow it. One thing I absolutely LOVE about Jamberry is that I don't have to break the bank or fit time I don't have at a salon. Jamberry Nail Wraps are so much more than just "stickers" for your finger nails. They come in over 300 designs and over a dozen different finishes. One can easily coordinate their personal style through wraps but Jamberry isn't just limited to wraps; they have a lacquer line, their Tru Shine Gel Enamels and home system, Nail Care, and much more. I tell people, "I'm not pitching some nail gimmick; I am in the business of helping each woman feel great about themselves and look beautiful while doing it." I sincerely mean that.

Aside from the fact that Jamberry Nail products are made right here in our own country, all their products are not tested on animals and are free from harmful chemicals. Jamberry is also a fast growing company where one can build their own Jamberry Nails business by becoming a consultant. The rewards and earning power is awesome because the products speak for themselves.

Every consultant has their "why" they started with Jamberry. My "why" is simple: I loved how the wraps looked on my little nubby nails and I wanted to help with my family's finances by working from home. Like so many, I had tried Avon, some home interior companies, and other direct sales companies that either everyone else were doing or were too much of an investment when my local area was already saturated with these companies. None of them helped put money in my pocket but Jamberry has. I'm still building my business but meeting each goal is attainable. I have met some great ladies and they have all mentored me. We come from all walks of life. The earning potential is there especially since Jamberry has reached out to the global markets such as England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and soon joining the Jamberry family, will be Mexico. I am so excited about our cross border countries and I believe more are going to follow.

I want to encourage all my followers to consider joining my team and being part of a company that cares and pays.

From August 24-September 5th anyone who joins my team will receive a free sheet of wraps and choice of lacquer. Plus I will place everyone's name in a raffle for a free $25 Visa gift card.

Holy Moley It's Jamberry Nails Tip For Tuesday!

Jamberry Tuesday

911!

Ladies, have you ever gotten your first sheet of Jamberry Nail Wraps and you've watched all the tutorials and followed all the directions for putting them on, yet you get the dreaded curling at the edges from air bubbles? I know it's happened to me many times over. I prep my nails, I have my mini heater all ready to go, my wrap measured and stuck to an orange stick in the heat, and then when I go to stick it I follow all the steps just to find I have some curling at the sides or bottom. Ladies, I have some solutions to stop the dreaded wrap curls.

STOP! DO THIS FIRST!

Before you do any of this tips, give your Jamberry manicure 24 hours. Usually when you apply them and you've applied sufficient pressure, the wraps smooth out after 24 hours. If in 24 hours you still see curled edges then proceed.

Remedy #1

Start off by using a good base coat. Jamberry has a great base coat but you can use any  you prefer. Just let it dry completely before applying the wraps. Sometimes our nails just aren't exactly smooth even after a good buffing. A base coat fills in and gives the wraps a little something extra to adhere to. You can still layer wraps if you wish with using a base coat.

Remedy #2

Try using a glass file. These can be found just about anywhere especially beauty supply stores like Sally's. Some people swear by this.  Because its such a fine, gentle file, it creates a very smooth edge.  A lot of people like to file at a 45 degree angle instead of 90 degree, exposing a thin layer of their nail bed at the tips.  This makes it so they can use their nails as tools and not worry about peeling up the wrap when using their fingers to scrape something.

Remedy #3

Use the Baggie Method

All you do is wrap your nail tightly with a ziplock plastic bag, and apply heat.  you can use any heat source (rice bag, hair dryer, mini heater) for this.  All that matters is that the bag is tight!

Remedy #4

HEAT IT UP!

Don't be afraid to apply more heat and pressure. Sometimes all the wraps need is a few more blasts of heat to give a better seal. Unlike nail stickers or those other brands that are common at drug stores, Dollar Stores, and other places; Jamberry Nail Wraps are made from a high grade type of vinyl that is heat activated. It's chemical free but it does need some good heat. The wraps will not melt on your fingers if you are using a mini heater or using a hair blower like you are supposed to. Again, this does not mean you have to burn your fingers. Just hit your application with a few more seconds in front of the heat and apply pressure.

Remedy #5

COOL IT DOWN BABY!

NEVER cut, clip, or file your newly applied Jams until they have had a chance to cool completely. Letting them cool completely allows the Jam to "cure" and adhere to the nail thoroughly. Filing, clipping, or cutting a warm or newly applied wrap can cause lifting or those darn curls at the edge. Let it cool. Also, while it's still warm, stretch by pulling at the end of the wrap over the nail tip and add pressure but let it cool afterwards.

Be sure to always start with clean, dry, and oil free nails. Buff your nails and try not to touch them or your wraps with your fingers as much as possible for a great seal.

Always make sure before you apply any wraps and after you have cleaned your nails by using either the Jamberry Nails Cleanser, alcohol (or alcohol pads), or Dawn Dish Soap that you push those cuticles back. You do not want your wraps over lapping the cuticles. That will cause the wraps to lift and isn't so good for your cuticles. Even at salons, any nail tech worth their salt is going to push (not cut) your cuticles back.

Enjoy your Jamberry Nails!

Tuesday Nail Tip

Welcome to Tuesday's Nail Tip

Nail Wrap Layering

Jamberry Nail Wraps are not just one dimensional. You can achieve a whole new look with just two Jamberry wraps. It's called layering and it's not as hard as you may think.

  1. Step one is cleaning your nails. Always start with clean oil free nails. This can be done by washing your hands with Dawn dish soap and then using Jamberry's Nail Cleanser or polish remover with acetone on each nail. Don't forget to push back your cuticles.
  2. Next adhere any solid wrap, Ombre, Striped or polka dotted, etc. first to your nails. I use this method to applying my Jamberry Nails by Sydney Brothers, my up line, The Easiest Jamberry Nail Application
  3. The next step is choosing any of the clear wraps and those come in a range of designs. Apply them the same way you just applied your base Jamberry wrap. You should have a perfect layered look.
  4. You can also use Jamberry Lacquer instead of using a Jamberry wrap as your base wrap but I do not suggest using one of the lacquer's that have sparkles or glitter since it might affect how your clear wrap might adhere and you will also need to apply your clear wrap perfectly because if you have to pull it up if it's off center, it might take off the lacquer.
Here are some great layered looks!
Prince Charming and Boomerang

Whisper and Grapefruit
